John Petricola is Regional Director of Development for Rockefeller Group Development Corporation. He is responsible for analyzing the financial viability of proposed projects and overseeing the development of new projects in the company's Florida region.
Prior to joining the company in 2006, Mr. Petricola ran his own firm for five years, The Louis Group in Miami, which served as development manager for numerous projects in South Florida and New York. In this capacity, he oversaw budgets and leasing, directed legal staff, provided market research, assisted in pre-development planning and crisis management, and often was responsible for site selection.
In 1997, Mr. Petricola joined Hines Corporation at its Houston, Texas, location, and later moved to its Queretaro, Mexico, office. While at Hines, Mr. Petricola acted as Development Director for the company's Industrial Development Group. He handled the purchasing and leasing of a 750-acre industrial park in central Mexico, managed a land development joint venture, and led a team devoted to property, leasing, and construction of several industrial buildings in Mexico. He also led construction and leasing activities for the company's Retail Development Group.
After serving seven years with the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Petricola worked for L. J. Melody & Company of Houston, Texas, as a Loan Underwriter and Financial Analyst.
Mr. Petricola received his bachelor's degree from Harvard College.
